Trump is Playing His Criminal Trials All Wrong

Trump discovers that becoming a felon is a money making opportunity

The Trump campaign to be Dictator of the U.S. announced that after he was convicted on 34 counts in New York, he found that the money just came rolling in from donors of all kinds who want a criminal back in the Oval Office. His campaign reported that he received about $54 million in the day after the New York jury returned 34 guilty verdicts on his business records falsifications designed to keep information from voters about his sexual escapade with a porn star, whose testimony revealed that Stormy Daniels is a lot smarter than Donald Trump.

Trump is always looking for a new money making opportunity, and now he discovered he can gain riches from being convicted of criminal offenses and then playing the martyr-victim role with such aplomb. He reported his MAGA Maniacs opened their wallets and let the money flow to the Trump campaign.

But it was not just small donors who opened their wallets, but Bloomberg reported that during the Trump trial, a group of Billionaires met at the Pierre Hotel, in New York, Nixon’s favorite hang-out, and all pledged support for Trump. Obviously the Billionaires will contribute to one of Trump’s PACs so that they are not constrained by the small donation limits applicable to all the “little people,” i.e. the rest of the population of the United States who did not find a way to be a Billionaire.

So, the Billionaires who made their billions on the strength of the rule of law in the American legal system, now want to forego those rule of law principles that require that contract parties honor and perform the terms of their contracts. So, the Billionaires are pledging their money to a NO RULE OF LAW world, and let see what happens when some scalawag breaches their contracts.

But the lesson for Trump is that he played the prosecution game all wrong. Delay, delay does not generate any money. But accelerate those two federal cases and that pesky Georgia imbroglio, and Trump can turn those criminal cases into a veritable waterfall of campaign contributions, and those PAC contributions can pay Trump’s legal fees so that he does not have to come out of pocket to himself pay those legal luminaries like Alina Habba, Todd Blanche, and Susan Necheles, a lawyer who should learn when not to ask a question.

Instead in order to maximize his “take” Trump should now ask all his Justices and judges to expedite all of his criminal cases to keep the cash rolling in. He is not worried about the effect of multiple convictions on his sentencing in other cases, so he looks forward to pushing that litigation pedal to the floor and let the juries come and increase his donors support for the campaign of the century.

Joe Biden will never be able to match Trump’s fundraising abilities. Let the prosecutors, district attorneys, Special Counsels and all throw a punch at Trump. and Trump will laugh all the way to the bank.
