Trump Wants to Be Jailed for Violating Gag Order
So He Posted Articles Critical of Judge Merchan's Daughter
Trump shows his vulgarity and disrespect for judges, their families, witnesses and others. Despite Judge Merchan’s Gag Order preventing Trump from attacking the Judge’s daughter, Trump continues to post articles on his Truth [Unsocial] critical of Judge Merchan’s daughter because she works in a firm assisting some Democratic candidates. Trump’s deliberate posting of the articles is not a way around the gag order, rather it is a direct assault on the Court and should be viewed as a contempt of court.
Trump thinks he will be fined some amount that he can have his foolish contributors pay. Of course, Trump never pays for anything: not his legal fees, not his contractors, not his campaign expenses; rather, it is always other people’s money.
Knowing this Judge Merchan should impose a real penalty on Trump that might have some effect: order him committed to Rikers Island for a week. Though Donald might not like the fact that his cell will not have gold plated bars, at least he won’t have to pay for his own meals. That should really appeal to Donald.
But in his attempt to be sanctioned Trump continues his efforts to martyrdom, and just last week he has compared himself to Nelson Mandela and Jesus Christ. Now I submit that neither Jesus or Mandela would be dumb enough to attack a judge’s daughter, who has nothing to do with Donald’s case. In fact, both of them would show respect and be rewarded in Jesus case of having a whole religion named after him even if some of its adherents do not always adhere to Jesus’ principles. And Mandela was finally released from prison to become the President of South Africa and pledged to work for both Blacks and whites and mixed race people.
Now Donald would never qualify by adopting Jesus’ principles of restraint and pursuing justice for everyone. Nor could he hold a candle to Mandela’s bravery and composure despite many years of harsh incarceration.
But I think a week at Rikers Island would do a world of good for Trump. He might get some humility in the process. They can arrange to bring his Secret Service detail to stay with him in the prison which would be fitting after the Secret Service deliberately erased all of their messages during January 6, 2021 even though they had been requested or subpoenaed by the January 6 Committee.
So let’s hope Trump gets his just desserts from Judge Merchan. Trump was so proud of his Georgia mug shot that he can have photos taken of him with the guys at Rikers, all of whom I am sure would be delighted to have a former president as a cellmate. Trump could challenge the prisoners on the basketball court, but golf is probably out of the question.
Trump should remember that Martin Luther King, Jr. had great success with his book “Letters from the Birmingham Jail,” and Trump could also use his jail time to write missives and letters to all his friends around the world and then publish them as did MLK.
So Judge Merchan, for the sake and safety of your daughter, give Donald Trump what he is begging for: a week, all expenses paid by the City of New York.
trump is NEVER going to 'learn humility' - because his reaction to anything he dislikes is pure nastiness - vile contempt, spite & hatred oozing from every pore ! So doing anything to him to teach him anything is a complete waste of time IMO !
